“My focus is with the entire family. I work toward implementing agreeable solutions that will help to defuse conflict and bring resolution and resolve to the complicated issues that families facing anxiety and fear share. I am supportive and compassionate in my approach; I provide a safe and inviting atmosphere to share feelings. I feel that taking an interactive approach can bring about needed answers, learn steps toward solutions and lay the foundation to build stronger relationships through communication.”
-Deborah Mertlich

What I offer:

I focus my practice on the principles of evidence-based counseling and therapy. The goal is the integration of: clinical expertise/expert opinion, external scientific evidence, and client values to provide high quality services reflecting the interests, values, needs and choices of the individual. This triangular approach is client centered, using the latest scientific evidence and research filtered through a highly trained specialist. It is a dynamic integration of ever-evolving clinical expertise put into action through my practice. Identifying the root cause of the anxiety, fear or worry is the initial goal. Followed by, education and skill building practices and principals, that we will share both in the office and implement as daily tasks outside the office. My goal is to provide the foundation and support for an improved quality of live for all involved. Your hard work and dedication to the principles covered with my guidance is where progress is made.
